Che Wannabe Canned By Colorado College

It looks like Ward Churchill needs to start polishing up the old resume.

BOULDER, Colo. -- The University of Colorado announced Monday that it will dismiss controversial professor Ward Churchill.

"Today, I issued to Professor Churchill a notice of intent to dismiss him from his faculty position at the University of Colorado Boulder," CU Interim Chancellor Phil DiStefano said Monday afternoon.

Despite being a traitor AND an asshole, things that are usually beneficial to a career in academia, Churchill simply wasn't competent enough to keep his job. First there are all these allegations of plagiarism, fraud and sloppy research.

Even more damning...he's a white guy. You see Che-lite was hired, at least partially on the basis of his claim of being part Indian.

As Churchill has lurched through Indian identities, he has not found a single Native relative or ancestor. He is descended from a long line of Churchills that Hank Adams has traced back to the Revolutionary War and Europe. Adams, who is Assiniboine-Sioux and a member of the Frank's Landing Indian Community, has successfully researched and exposed other pseudo-Indians. Adams traced Churchill's ancestors on both sides of his family, finding all white people, including documented slave owners and at least one spy, but zero Indians.

Well OK, sure, but what he really meant to say was that he was an honorary Cherokee right? Yeah, and Elvis was a DEA Agent too.
